“My husband and I hired Brown Sugar to perform at our wedding back in August 2017 at Buddileigh Farm in Cheshire. Now I can’t stress enough how many wedding bands we saw in preparation for our wedding, as to us this was one of the most important aspects of our big day.. We really wanted to give our guests a treat and not just the usual, “same, same wedding band”. WOW!!! Just wow! They didn’t just deliver, they blew every other band out of the water by a mile!!! First and foremost their instrumental band members are outstanding, wow them boys can play. Truly skilled musicians who are obviously passionate and more importantly FUN! The singer, Steph honestly has a voice, like a SERIOUS voice!! I’m amazed that she’s not been snapped up by Simon cowell she’s that good.. a lot of our guests said her voice gave them goosebumps when she sang.. They have a very cool, soulful sound. Taking some brilliant classics and putting their unique twist on them. Right from there opening number they got our guests up and on the dance floor! Interacting with them and ensuring everyone had a night to remember.. people were talking about them for months! (No exaggeration) Highly recommended for anyone wanting a night to remember!”

“Brown Sugar were the main entertainment for my 21st birthday, 4 years ago, in November 2016, they were fantastic. They were so easy to contact and also took requests before and on the night. They arrived early on the night and were very slick and professional. They had everyone up and dancing whether it was slow or partying! Could not recommend them highly enough! The main singer suits so many different styles of music and the guitarist and drummer is extremely talented! Brilliant music on a brilliant night. Since that night I have gone to watch so many of their gigs and they never fail to impress!”

Dave Rogers the lead guitarist of Brown Sugar is a friend of mine who I’ve known for many years and in my opinion is one of the best guitarists I’ve ever come across. For one of my birthday parties that I organised a few years back in the upstairs function room of the Birches Head pub in Birches Head I wanted a top of the range group for my birthday party as I had lots of people attending friends and family alike and I could think of no better choice than the Brown Sugar! Professional in every way and delivering an amazing set list from start to finish, I had everyone at the party praising their name as they were up all night dancing! X”
